When I first joined MKP I had just been through an NWTA. (New Warrior Training Adventure) I was flying in a new zone. I returned to my community in Asheville, welcomed home by the entire community – men, women, and children. I thought I had landed right where I wanted to be. I was home!

Was it like that for everyone I wondered? Probably not, but for me I felt what I had done was join an organization that was on track to change the world (if only my world) one man at a time.

Well, here we are in 2022. The pandemic has changed everything. Right? Into what? I’m not sure, but what I do know is that this Worldwide health crisis has helped me and us change too. Into what? I don’t know, but what I do know is that the ManKind Project continues to help men create a safer world where all men are brothers, training and supporting them in circles.

How do I know this? I have seen it over and over again for the last eight years and even as recently as this past NWTA weekend. (April 29-May 1, 2022) It’s just one of many reasons why membership in this organization is so valuable.

I ask you brothers, even we’re not perfect, isn’t some small contribution worth it to continue the work you have taken part in over the last 23 years here in the Greater Carolinas?  Did it make a difference in your life? It did in mine and continues to this day. What about other men who need what we have to offer?

Won’t you support this work? No amount is too small. It all makes a huge difference.
